National & Regional BONs

National BONs can act as national units and networks bringing biodiversity change data and information together. The development of national BONs is also directly facilitated through the application of BON in a Box.

China, Colombia and France are national BONs already functioning. The Circumpolar Biodiversity Monitoring Program (Arctic BON), the Asia Pacific BON (AP-BON) and the Americas BON are existing regional BONs under the GEO BON umbrella.
