As we informed you earlier this month, we have been monitoring the COVID-19 pandemic closely while investigating potential formats to hold the Open Science Conference and All Hands Meeting.
Today we confirm that the event will be held from July 6th to 10th as a 100% virtual meeting.
We are therefore extending the deadline to submit abstracts to May 15th and will be opening the registrations mid-May as well. The organizing committee is currently working on an agenda that will accommodate the different timezones of the participants to the best extent possible. More on this shortly!
We were looking forward to welcoming you in person in Leipzig this summer. Nevertheless, we are also confident that even during these difficult times, the OSC will bring together the GEO BON community, albeit virtually, and will become another important milestone in the path of the network.
